Why this one service changes lawns

Our local soil is heavy red clay. A summer of mowing, foot traffic, and heat compacts it until water sheets off and roots suffocate. Core aeration pulls thousands of plugs, opening the soil so air, water, and nutrients reach the roots. Overseeding right behind it drops improved fescue seed into those holes, seed to soil contact, exactly where new grass establishes best.

The window is September and October

Fall is when cool season grass germinates fast, weed pressure collapses, and young grass gets months to root before summer stress. Spring seeding fights crabgrass pre-emergent timing and summer heat. That is why we run aeration and overseeding as a fall operation and why the schedule fills ahead of time.

What the visit looks like

• Core aeration across the full lawn, double passes on problem areas.
• Quality tall fescue blends suited to sun or shade.
• Guidance on the two weeks of watering that make or break new seed.
• Mowing advice: we ask customers to hold off mowing new seed for about two weeks, then resume high.
